“I test and I try until I find things that work consistently. We really need to do that our whole lives. We need to be experimenters of all things. If something’s not working, we need to step back and say, ‘What’s not working here?’”
-Jill Konrath
On this week’s edition of the podcast, I speak with my good friend and renowned author Jill Konrath. We discuss some of the biggest mistakes that sales leaders are currently making that cost them time and, ultimately, sales. Jill also offers several different techniques and tips to increase productivity in your day, which you can begin to implement in your own business.
Jill and I talk first about some of the problems that salespeople face today. She notes that she often felt exhausted from morning to night, and by the end of the day she still hadn’t gotten anything done! She knew then that she needed to write her new book, More Sales, Less Time, to help people with similar obstacles.
Jill says that, “I knew the number one issue was distraction, and it was causing me to be bad at everything…I couldn’t come up with new approaches and solutions to challenges because I was constantly tired.”
I know you’re going to enjoy hearing our conversation, and that you’ll learn so much from Jill Konrath’s advice!
Listen to this episode and discover:
- Why you are constantly distracted and can never focus on your task.
- Why there is no “silver bullet” for productivity.
- The reason multitasking is a complete myth.
- How often you truly need to check your email.
- Why you might be missing out on extraordinary opportunities.
- And so much more…
